Duane has been the President of the Northern Plains Potato Growers Association since April of 1998. Duane is also currently the chairman of the Potato Bowl USA committee, a position he has held since 1999. Duane, his wife Patty and sons Austin and Landon, live in the greater Grand Forks area.
