Ted Kreis, Marketing Director

The NPPGA hired Ted Kreis as their Marketing Director in August 2004.  Kreis was raised and graduated high school in Finley, ND where is father worked as a grocer.

He attended UND and graduated with a B.A. in Communication in 1976. Kreis worked for KTHI-TV (KVLY) for three years before entering retail.  Working for Target and Red Owl for several years, Kreis eventually moved to Hugo's Family Market in 1981 and was produce manager by 1983. 

He then moved to Arizona for a short time and in 1990 returned to Grand Forks to manage the Produce Department at Super One Foods, where he stayed until 1997. He then returned to Hugo's for seven years before he joined the NPPGA staff.

Kreis has been married since 1976 to his wife Tina. They have two sons, Brett and Alex.
